Don't buy if your primary need is to stay in touch with non-EU traveling companions.

When in Europe, his doesn't work if you need to call or text any traveling companion on a US phone without having to pay an additional $1.85/minute, which you must prepay. Otherwise, you just get a message that the account needs "topping up." So if your primary need is to stay in touch with those you're traveling with, don't buy it. Use Skype or something similar. If you do and need help from a human being, keep this number handy for customer service: +44 7782 333 333. I couldn't find it anywhere in their app which is primarily focused on selling you more stuff. However, my call was answered promptly, and the gent was typically British in his civility and friendliness.

worked great in most of Scotland and the Dublin airport - bought two for a one week vacation and used them in unlocked GSM (AT&T in the US) phones - Moto G4 and LG Q6 - The cards can be found in the UK at post offices and such, but if you want to be prepared before you land, I recommend buying these -

Wife was rather upset she couldn't call back to the States to check in with her parents - but other than that we used it for Text between each other in case we got separated, Social media/posting photos etc. I think I really only had to make one phone call - but it worked well for our needs.

Worked great in Paris and Barcelona. 5GB was more than enough for the week that was spend there. I think after a week, we had only used 2.5GB and that was split between 4 people connected to a mobile hotspot.
Great price ($30 USD) compared to other plans of the same amount of data.

... including croatia data was slow i some places much like the US so no biggie

I bought three of these cards activated them in the US immediately got texts we used these phones all over europe including croatia data was slow i some places much like the US so no biggie . You can ONLY call other three cells and free text BUT you can get a credit and use that for local calls I ended up using SKYPE to call the US $1 odd a minute on three and 4c on skype DATA BUNDLE its just awesome if you not connecting like one reviewer its more than likely the phone I used Iphones ill buy these every trip I make to Europe
