I bought this because it is organic and I am not comfortable with grocery store shelf product. I am using it to help stay alkaline so this is important to me. I also like the heavy brown paper bag it comes in-environmentally friendly is the best choice. I AM storing the bag in a plastic baggie to keep out moisture since opening. No added toxins...use it to bake, calm the tummy, good for cuts in the mouth, burnt lip or gum from sipping tea or coffee too hot....lol it taste ok with slightly sweetened lemonade for stomach or tummy aches, bloating etc.....it is also effective for any mysterious itchy skin....mix with water and drink quickly , the taste is not so good but it is effective!!!

Organic baking soda. I'm very organic, but I have never gone as far as to get baking soda that is organic. I'm so excited to use it in my bath soaks. Wish the quantity was a bit larger for the cost, (1 star). Other than that, the packaging is superb and high quality. The resealable closure is hassle free and practically closes itself.
