Comfortable but sheds

Iv had this topper for two years now. It has been very comfortable and kept its shape. It also stays on the mattress securely. My only complaint is it does shed lots of bigger cottony lint pieces, I'm assuming, from the seams. I have a heated mattress pad over the top of it and every time I take of the mattress pad I have to lint roll, like crazy, the top of this topper to get up all the lint pieces. I did check and it is not from the mattress pad cover I had on top of it. I just purchased a new pillow top cover and did not go with this one again because of that issue. The lint rolling and vacuuming it off over and over has become annoying. Other than that, it's served its purpose.
This mattress topper is exactly what I wanted. It’s very comfortable!

We moved into our new home before furniture arrived and bought a sound asleep air bed to tide us over. I tried out the air bed first and found it to be too harsh. We needed a softening between us and the bed surface. Normal beds have a mattress pads after all. Well, I searched and re-searched and this topper made the most sense to me so we thought we would try it. It produced a fantastic nights sleep. It was very comfortable, was not hot as some describe it. It softened the mattress considerably and produced a great nights sleep. I slept for 7 straight hours the first night without waking and that has not happened for a while. We have used it now for 10 straight nights and have not had a complaint and have slept 7 or more hours every night.

This is the second time I've purchased this topper. Once in 2021, and again now. I am a side sleeper and this topper allows me to comfortably sleep on my side without having to toss and turn due to hip pain. This topper is very thick, plush, and soft. It makes the bed feel like you're sleeping on a pillow and I look forward to getting in bed every single night because of this topper. I love that it's machine washable too. The only thing I'd like to see improved is the elastic bands that wrap around the corners of the mattress. They fit, but not without creating tension, and over time they end up breaking. You really don't even have to use them as long as your fitted sheet holds it in place. But if they could make the elastic bands longer then that would probably solve the issue. Overall, it's a minor detail when it comes to how comfortable this topper is.

This mattress pad is wonderful. My husband has not been able to sleep in our bed because of hip pain and tossing and turning. We thought we would give this mattress pad a try because of the good reviews. He was very skeptical, but he has been able to stay in our bed and get a great night of sleep with this mattress pad every single night since we bought it!! It is truly worth every penny. It's soft, nice and thick and it doesn't make you sweaty at night. I don't know that I would say that it's actually "cooling"but it's definitely not a hot and sweaty mattress pad.
