Works well. I bought two of them when redoing our house as the switched outlets in two bedrooms no longer had lamps. This enabled me to put blanks over those switches and put the remote directly on that blank. Now I have lamps in different areas that act like they are on a switch. This is a great product for the price.
The one thing I noticed is you cannot use a 3-way bulb with this. I didn't notice if it said it anywhere and I didn't think to ask it before I bought my 2nd unit but that is the only thing holding this back from 5 stars

Very easy install. We have a porch light by the driveway but I hate leaving it on all night when I'm at work. This works perfect, I keep the remote in the car and turn the light on to get into the house then simply turn off the switch. Exactly what I needed.

Just got this and so far so good. We have a ceiling fan and light that are connected and wanted to be able to turn one off while the other is running. It is a recessed light and the bulb sticks out less than 1/2 -not that anyone would notice unless it was pointed out to them. Seems like it will solve our problem~

The combined height of the "base" and special bulb, makes this too tall to fit inside the harps of my lamps. perhaps the ad should indicate the harp clearance required to use this product.

I'm using this in an over head light in my walk in closet. The pull cord switch broke and I didn't want to replace the entire light fixture. This was the perfect solution.
