Works great, but you need sleep

Had arthroscopic knee surgery 3 days ago, and this system works great. The only downfall is that you have to manually fill and empty the brace via gravity feed. Through the night (they want you to ice 24/7 for the first 3-5 days) it's not all that convenient, as the brace needs to be refilled once an hour or so to keep it cold. The cooler itself keeps water and ice cold 6-8 hours as advertised. Have not used the motorized models, but might be worth trying so you don't have to wake up every few hours. Other reviews say the valve leaks, mine has not and found it works better if you leave the hose attached, although you can remove it and walk around if needed.

I needed to return it and they closed the return window January. The cuff was large and I didn't have my surgery until 2/7 to even know that it wouldn't worked for me.

Having had knee replacement, this item worked like a charm. No need to replace ice every hour. Glad I heard about it from a friend.
