Amazing! This car is so much cooler then I even thought it would be. My 2.5-year-old is OBSESSED with cars! Anything cars, shirts, books, shoes, cars. I'm talking anything. It was one of his first words even. this car set is simple enough for him to figure out what still needing a little bit of my help holding the pieces in place while he drills them but he basically did all of the work himself. As he gets older I think he will continue to play with his car because it's just so cool! And it will be something he can eventually do on his own. It also makes sensory noises and lights up! They have also included extra pieces which was great because we lost a couple screws right off the go lol toddler life. Find something you can keep all of the pieces in because it's a lot and they are pretty small. It is all around a great purchase. I love when that happensðŸ˜

My son is 3.5. He was thrilled to actually put something together with a drill for real. However, it is not enough pieces to be for more than a 3 or 4 year old, but it is also a little hard for a child that young to figure it out. My husband had to help him. That is fine, it was something fun for them to do together. Once done though, it is just a car. For $10, it wasn't a bad purchase, fun for a little one as I said. However, I have since seen some other ones that are not pricey that I would buy instead of this one in the future. If you have a tool junky or one that loves anything that moves, then this is nice.

My grandson just turned four and he loved this. He and I played for at least an hour starting with the base frame and figuring out how to add the various pieces. He loved the fact that it could go from regular hardtop to convertible to race car and back. The drill did not always work for all the pieces but luckily he had a screw driver from his little tool kit that worked.
