Easily noticeable reduction in sibilance

One of the nagging issues with my carefully-tuned Dual CS606 was a bit of sibilance. After applying the clamp, it's greatly reduced. Definitely recommended.

This is not a weight but a lightweight dense plastic record clamp. You place it on the spindle, press it down, and tighten the knurled screw on top. This grips the spindle and keeps the clamp exerting it's effect. Don't get a recorded weight because they are not anywhere as effective as this product. It is an incredibly good value for the price too.
Nice solid upgrade for not a lot of cash.

I've been using this for a couple of weeks now and it does seem to improve the low end response. I am using Fluance powered bookshelf speakers modified to go through a powered subwoofer and the bass does seem tighter. Keeping in mind I play mainly used vinyl from 50+ years ago but I think for the money this is a solid upgrade.

Bought bothe the low profile Record Doctor clamp and the Nobsound clamp to see which one actually fit for a ProJect Carbon DC with the acrylic platter.
Which fits? Both, but the Record Doctor had issues. The Knobsound and RD both fit under the cover with the acrylic platter no problem. The issue arose when I then tried both clamps with standard vinyl and 180g. The Nobsound works with both thickness records, and is the one I kept. The RD ONLY works with standard LP thickness on the Carbon DC w acrylic platter. With 180g vinyl, the RD would pop right off because it can't grab enough of the short spindle to retain.
There ya go, the confirmed clamp you have been looking for on the ProJect table with acrylic platter- the Nobsound is it! Too bad the aluminum Michelle clamp can't be gotten stateside, so this is the next best thing.

At Last The Clamp I've Been Looking For With No Added Weight::: I Had To Stop Using A AT 618 Disc Stabilizer Which In My Opinion Was Too Heavy For My Direct Drive Audio Technica AT LP 120 And So The Overall Sound Improved Better Bass And Great Highs Also:::: And So No More Weight On My Turntable And So I Give It FIVE STARS For Quality And Workmanship And Quick Delivery.!!!!!!
