Good option when your wall outlet isn't easily accessible, but you need to plug/unplug different items. The flat plug is perfect behind my couch, allows me to push it back to the wall as normal. Note that this cord is pretty stiff, so don't expect to get it to make sharp curves to bend under or around obstacles; since the flat end of the cord rotates, you can put it the right position to lead out where you need it without needing to twist or bend the cord.

These things are pretty awesome. I have a lot of dressers and cabinets that are so close to the walls that regular plugs force me to move them away from the walls. These are as close/thin as you can get, yet allow you to even rotate it.

Very useful for tight spots. The swiveling head helps to put the cord where you want it. A short cord like this isn't for every application, but what length is? This size is great when you don't want a lot of unnecessary length looking ugly and taking up space. Cord, plug, and receptacle quality seem very good. I got this for a microwave in a tight space that didn't have room in back for it's blocking plug sticking out from the wall.
