Any bird owner knows that your feathery friends can get bored really easily. Of course you know this since they're not subtle about it at all (they'll scream or just constantly flutter all over the place). I try to keep my cockatiels well stocked with a supply of new toys and so far they love it. While this toy is designed for larger parrots, as long as you have a large enough cage, even smaller birds will get lots of enjoyment out of it.
I was a little concerned with safety since it is made in China, but it came with no odd smells, just the natural smells of leather and wood fiber and I even soaked it to see how much dye would run from the blocks (almost none and the part that did was very water soluble). A well priced toy for any family birds.

My cockatoo is a destroyer of toys! I'm always looking for something that will last longer than a couple of days and this has done the job! It has lots of wooden squares and also lots of knots! She love to undo the knots and luckily thus doesn't all fall apart too quickly. She did detach it at the top once but I found it easy to re-tie and hang up again. I would order this again in the future.

I purchase for my cockatoo. The bell is about 3 .5 inches long and with the chain is a total of about 8.5 inches. The upper chain is very heavy and well made. It has a connector at the top so you can connect anywhere. I knew when I ordered this bell that my bird would like making nose with it.
