UPDATE
After posting a one-star review (below) I returned the hose. Within a day, the vendor (GreatCircleUSA) offered to send me a new hose at no charge.
The hose I just received is perfect -- no bubbles, no defects at all. By itself this hose deserves 5 stars, but I knocked one star off because I did after all initially receive a poor product. However, the service I received reflects a customer-centric seller that provides fast service and will try their best to make you happy. And I am.

I'm sure my experience is just due to a bad production batch because it certainly isn't reflected by the other reviewers. I bought the hose before I had replaced my broken compressor, so was able to use it this week for the first time. At 150 lbs line pressure the hose showed many spots of weakness along its length -- I counted 9 blisters but there could be more. I'm wary of using the hose at all because it will very likely burst. See the photos.
Except for the leaks, I like the hose -- 3/8" diameter, reasonably flexible, and it seems well made (ignoring my present problems of course). I believe it's too late to return the hose or I would, hoping for a replacement without the problems. Good luck with your purchase; I hope your experience will be better.

The perfect air hose

I will never use another fiberglass hose again, these hybrid hoses keep their shape when rolled up, but can be straightened out with minimal effort when stretched across the floor, they lay flat and don't create a trip hazard. These are also lightweight and don't kink.

Due to folding inside the coil, one end of hose had a kink, with white stress lines, at the end of the "strain relief". Raises possibility of premature failure. Returned item.
Update, one month later: The company that sold this appears to be very quality and consumer satisfaction oriented. The replacement hose they shipped to me off the shelf does not have the potential weakness I noted in the first part of my review. See pics three and four. I am fully confident of the advertised service life, and the hose characteristics, lightness, etc., are just as good as most other reviewers on this site state. Happy customer.
