I purchased these stools in error, thinking they were as high as bar stools, which was my fault; but it would be helpful if the height info was easier to see and if there were some photos showing the stools in perspective with people. These are actually just foot stool height, or something you might use to sit around a campfire, that sort of thing. Having said that, they did seem to be of good quality; and I really liked how they collapse down easily and you just open them up, and the handle that's part of the stool is really handy to carry it or hang it up with. I'm not sure that they'd stand up to holding 400 lbs for very long, though.There was no assembly required, and they arrived quickly.

These stools are great, they are everything that they advertise to be and they really hold a lot of weight and are very comfortable. We used them at backyard BBQs and every time we got up someone was sitting on our stool because they were so comfortable. If you are looking for a comfortable stool that holds a lot of weight, get this set of stools, you won't be sorry.
