Well I just sent it off, let's see what happens. It was easy, fast and painless, definitely worth a try if you're interested.

Well i got the package today. I opened it up, followed the instructions and sent it off. It says I should have results back quickly.
So you'll need to register: Protip: The Email confirmation is case sensitive so [email protected] will give you an error if you use [email protected]. So just be advised, autofill does that sometimes. In any case, you create an account , you use the Bar code ON THE BAG4 Number, 4 Upper Case Letters and 4 Numbers. See image below. It walks you through the checkout process which comes to $199.00 unless you have a promotion.
Once you're done, you have an account, you scrape the inside of your mouth of one of the other DNA extra methods and you send it off. Post is paid and you wait. My wife had it done and it took about 2 week and she learned alot. I'll update when I get my results. It took me about 10 minutes so far so I'll have a lot more to add especially regarding surprises and things I know to be accurate or inaccurate. As a stastician I know this 'works' for reasons many don't understand and TV shows help spread a lot of misinformation about DNA, but the more people we get, the better the samples, the more we'll be able to know. But also remember just b/c you have a cancer marker and your grandad died from it, that doesn't mean you're going to get it. But you dont' read my reviews to learn about stats, rather it's about products. So stay tuned
