I'm a sucker for a quality product. I've got to admit that although this doesn't feel like a great quality plastic, the results are quite beautiful. The night light works as expected and it has several different setting for warm light, white light, blue and even an orange and blue combined. It has 3 different options to dim the lights to your desired brightness, as well as an option to make it turn and have the galaxy go around the room. It includes 3 different inserts with planets, stars and a happy birthday one that I believe a little one would love to add on their special day.
You have the option of using batteries as well as connecting with a USB port to the wall. The cable is quite short so it does limit the placing of the light but that doesn't take away from the projection in general. If placed with batteries in the middle of the room you can get the full on effect on the ceiling, or it can just be plugged to the wall and will project closer to that area.
Overall the results are quite great and my son loves it, and me and my husband love staring at it too. I would definitely recommend.

Pros: it is very easy to use, very bright (we use it as a night light as well), and it has a pretty clear picture on the ceiling even though it only a few feet from floor. We had bought a different one for my son and it has to be high on a shelf in order for you to see the picture, this one definitely does not have that problem. Also I love the rotation effect! It acts like a crib mobile for my toddler. She'll watch it go around and around and 5-10 minutes later she is out. Which is great because I have to go turn it off after she is asleep to save battery. This would be the only Con I have so far. It runs off 3 AA batteries and has to be changed weekly it seems. It did come with a little charging cord of some sort that is like 6 inches long and plugs into USB but so far seems useless. I have outlets in my kids rooms not USB ports. And even if I had an extra brick that I could use, the cord would not be long enough for me to plug it in and put on my kids night stand. Not sure what to do with that. We did buy a rechargeable set of AA batteries. Hopefully that will help us reduce the amount of batteries that we have to dispose of.

Overall, this is an awesome product. The interchangeable screens are great for a diffrent and fun look. The options of the light pattterns are great as well as the ability for it to rotate or not. The different levels of brightness are also a plus and if you use the batteries it is easy to tell when they need to be replaced due to it not being as bright. The only thing that I do not like is that the stars are not as clear on the ceiling and there is now ay to adjust for the sharpness and it does have a constant noise, though not anything unbearable, when it rotates.
