Works well and can’t tell a difference from real egg

My daughter has an egg allergy so there is so much she can't eat. I have used the neat egg for baked goods and it works so well. You can't tell a difference in taste. The only thing I would say is that it is really gummy and I added a tiny bit extra water. But so worth it to buy and make it possible for my little one to eat baked goods
Italian mix NIX!!

It's like eating a dry ball of chalk... with spices. Actually eating a $10 bill would probably taste better. Yeah, no. Don't do that.
its ok but not for me

for myself this did not work well. now iam not sure if its the product or user error
so iam going to give it three stars because i feel it has potential
i had tried to make this as the ground sausage now it seemed to be very dry and kind of had a gritty texture
flavor wise it was not overly seasoned but it also kind of had a not really burnt but burnt after taste
it was not bad just not what i was looking for in a breakfast non meat deal
if i do try this again i might try it mixed in some ground beef as a way to sneak in more veggies on my kid or as a way to thicken up a meat loaf but as a stand alone i would have to pass

Well, it does work...somewhat. I think perhaps better in something very strongly flavored as this does have a "beany" flavor and wasn't the most successful result in my coconut flour biscuits. It did produce a somewhat acceptable texture, but the flavor is something hard to ignore. I think, given the cost, I will continue searching for a better alternative or make my own with flax or chia. I'm not terribly impressed with this product.
time to get creative!

I'm not much of a baker, but I'm always eager to try out any new vegan egg, meat or cheese substitute I come across. I bought this hoping to use it as a stand-alone egg substitute for scrambled egg type dishes - I did read beforehand that it isn't intended/won't work for that purpose, but I was hopeful hat I could find a way by mixing it with the right ingredients. Those initial experiments failed, and the package sat in the cupboard for a few weeks. Then late one night when I had an attack of the munchies, I dipped a hamburger bun in olive oil, coated it with the Neat Egg and pan fried it, and eureka! I'd stumbled on to a winner. Had to have my new favorite snack every day after that and the package went fast. I'm about to order more, and I felt compelled to come back and leave a rave review. I'm sure it probably works well for everyday baking too, but I'm more interested in playing around with it and seeing what else it can do. Planning to try fried rice next!
