I have a large head and most hats I order are too small. This hat has the ability to stretch as well. If you have lighter skin susceptible to getting sun burned then this is the hat for you. Would I wear this hat to go out on the town, no I would not. However, this hat is very large and provides alot of good shade and protection from the sun and heat. I was doing yard work on my property in 100 degree weather last week and I just wet the hat on the inside hat band area (the hat doesn't have a hat band on the inside of the hat) and it kept me very comfortable. I was also surprised that this hat has held up so well from the usage, as I am rough on my things. Anyway, two thumbs up on this product and I highly recommend. Thank you and God Bless...
