Does what it says, with extra research.

Have to use a different company's software to use this easily.. it's a German company and the translation is meh at best.. but I can understand German more than Chinese. They probably knocked off the German company anyway... -2 stars because of this, but 6 stars for how dang useful and easy it becomes vs old floppy disks once you invest the time to get it going.

I'm a highly technical person and I cannot figure out how to get this to work. There's absolutely no information about installation included in the box and the online "manuals" are so terse I can't even determine if they apply to this unit. When it's recognized by the PC, the data is always corrupted beyond recognition.
