Like other reviews, my guitar arrived with scuffs and scratches as well as missed spots that should have been painted. I was thinking of sending it back but the sound quality is pretty impressive and it does seem to stay in tune. So, for those two reasons, I kept it. I mean ... it was only $100, but I would not purchase this as a gift because it looks like a used guitar.

The Fender Squier acoustic tuned nicely [with the fender tuning app and others] It is full sized and I would recommend it. It's easy for a beginner adult [me] to place my fingers correctly on the strings. I have a smaller guitar [F.A.] and it's actually harder to play than the Fender because my fingers are always on the wrong spot.

I love everything about this guitar. Great sound, great playability, great craftsmanship, no flaws at all.! I used to collect Vintage Martin's and Gibsons so I'm pretty picky about acoustic guitars. I still don't know how they can possibly sell this guitar so cheaply.. don't be scared off because it's laminated. It really sounds terrific. I honestly don't know how they do it but I'm glad to have it!
