My husband found this product online and wanted to give it a try. I reluctantly agreed, with the understanding that he would paint it back to white if it didn't go well. He made sure to do it while I was at work. When I got home I was shocked at how good it looked. Neighbors have been giving positive feedback left and right on our new wood garage door! From the street or even in the driveway its indistinguishable. When you get really close one can tell that its painted, but who is gonna get that close? My husband did say that following the directions to a tee helped with the 2nd "wood" coat. Be sure to go panel by panel, as the paint dries really fast. Also, it surely took much longer than 3 hrs, try 5. We are very happy with the final result. Saved us $1700, instead of buying a new door.

This product was awesome! It made my 20 year old rusty garage look brand new. I did all the steps and it turned out great. I even did an extra coat with a paint brush to give it more wood like texture. It took 6 hours but we'll worth it.

This garage door painting kit was terrific! My garage door looks like real wood. I had a hard time initially, because the door was too hot when I put the stain on, but a call to the service department solved the problem. Recommend wetting the mitt before applying the stain- it worked a lot better. Hard to believe that something that looks so good was so easy to do. I love it!
