I had a thawed frozen turkey, not fresh so sat this in the brine for 19 hrs. That was a little longer than the 12 recommended but the bird turned out great. Hardly any left for sandwiches. I had the bird in a cooler in the garage on ice overnight and the bag was strong enough to carry it filled to where I could empty it. I would buy this again for the bargain and the bag. The meat is infused with a salty flavor but for our dinner, it was just right. Moist & full of flavor.

We've used this brine two years in a row now and cannot sing it's praises enough. Directions are incredibly easy to follow and understand, especially since the brine comes with a brining bag. Our family is usually not too fond of turkey but this brine has changed that for us entirely. This year we actually ran into the issue of not making a big enough turkey due to just how much everyone loved the flavor of the turkey this year.

I received Spice Hunter Turkey Brine a few years ago as a gift and have become hooked on it. Now I used it every year for every turkey and it makes it moist and seasoned wonderfully. I use it with apple cider instead of water. Chef's kiss the this product!
