Never had problems until 9 months ago. Got it when buddies decided to start walking. Was fine at first. Then my old awesome shoes needed replacement and I chose sketchers that felt okay but had no arch support. We did 2 extra long walks of 6 miles and then 8. That's when pf kicked in. Podiatrist said I have fallen arches and scars along the plantar fascia. He gave me inserts that helped a little but not enough.
I looked at these silly purple plastic things and was pretty skeptical. I had a pair of Champs I purchased years ago but they were 1/2 size to big so I forgot about them. After all the walking my feet got bigger so now these guys are the right size...cool. I pulled out the insoles and what do you know? They had a postit kind of glue on the bottom of them. Sticky but only enough to keep it tight in the shoe. I put the ninjas on and they stuck perfectly to the bottom of the insoles.
Put my feet in the shoes and they felt fantastic. But not fantastic enough to go for long walks yet. I hope that pf condition keeps improving.
Those velcro stickers that came with the short. I'd forget about them. I would experiment with gluing the ninjas to the bottom of the inserts with rubber cement or other flexible glue. Rubber cement is good cuz if you don't like it you're not stuck with it like if you used a silicone glue...pun intended.
I like that the insert is independent of the ninjas. That allows you to try different inserts and use the ninja part for a different experience. Haven't tried it yet but considering it.
I wouldn't mind a little more arch support. Not sure I'd like that or not but I think I would.
I've had these for about 3 weeks and use them every day and I really like them.
I wear a men's 8.5 US, regular width and bought the 8s for a great fit.
Last thing that maybe of help. My Podiatrist recommend
Hoka One shoes because they're stiff and sort of roll as you walk instead of bending. This prevents the pf muscle from getting pulled tight with every step. He said for this reason, running shoes that are designed to bend are bad for everyday use, at least for my scarred pf muscles. I decided to stick with the Champs because they're fairly stiff and I already had them. Hoka Ones are pricey.

After wearing them for an hour and a half, I couldn't walk!

I'm so glad that these help so many people! Foot pain is debilitating so it must be wonderful to find something that works. I've been walking about 8k-9k steps a day for several months, and my right arch began to hurt. These claimed to solve all kinds of foot pain, not just plantar fasciitis, so I decided to try them. From the minute I placed them into my shoes and began to walk i experienced sharp pain in my right arch. Since the instructions say to wear them for an hour the first day, then add an hour a day until you are wearing them all day I continued to wear them, but just around the house, for about an hour and a half. Finally I gave up, because I was limping and my right foot was screaming in pain. I had to put my feet up for the next two hours before I could put any weight on my right foot.
These must work well - the reviews speak for themselves. But they didn't work for me.

If you watch the video and follow the directions that came with this, it tells you very clearly. You are to start out with one hour first. Then work your way up to wearing them for two hours, the next day and so on until you reach an eight hour day. Long story short, I work in construction and have worn red wing steel toed boots for the last 25 years. Recently, I was having so much heel pain on my left heel. I ended up going to the Doc on my break. They shot an x-ray and told me that I literally have a posterior and inferior bone spur. But that's just a secondary symptoms. Long story short, I was told that insoles are the way they treat these. Because I have plantar fasciitis. Now first of all, last Wednesday I quit wearing my steel toe boots and I switch to a Saudex (Amazon) steel toed safety shoe. Looks like a tennis shoe. And very comfortable. And Thursday and Friday were much better but still very painful. Waking up Sunday night with my foot completely swollen and in pain. I missed work Monday. Which is not acceptable. I begin researching on the Internet frantically what to do when I came across these. Long story shorter, these are amazing. Last night I wore them for an hour and a half around the house because I was cooking and doing things. Today at work I wore them for 2 1/2 hours as instructed basically. And I would say that my pain has been cut down by almost 75%. And I'm still aware that it's there. But I have strong hopes and will do a follow up review in the next couple weeks. These are worth the money and if you follow the directions as they're stated, you won't have the problems that other reviewers have written about. I walked all around the jobsite this morning for 2 1/2 hours with no Velcro attached, and they never slipped or moved.
Worth it!

These insoles are AMAZING and WORK!!! I walk 6-10 miles per day inside a warehouse, on metal dock grating, and my feet felt like they were broken at the end of the day. First day wearing insoles pain was gone. I've worn every day - they lasted 3months before I needed new pair. (They eventually lose the curve and go flat).
Works great for me but not for everyone

Two of my kids and I have severely flat feet. These were recommended to try before an expensive custom orthotic. For me they work great. I don't find they slide around once my foot is in my shoe. They stay put. I don't use them in my running or walking shoes (Hokas give me enough support without the insert) or in my Fitflops because they are amazing as is for flat feet. I got tired of switching these between shoes so I just bought a pair for each set of shoes. I especially love them for my winter boots.
Unfortunately these didn't help my boys. They tried the inserts and said they didn't help at all. My youngest son finally found some relief with the Aetrex inserts that he was fitted for at the shoes store.
