Not bad just didn't realize allllllll the pieces
Fran✓ Verified Purchase•February 12, 2018
Wasn't what I expected. Not bad just didn't realize allllllll the pieces. Need to have scissors on hand to cut out very very small pieces of paper printed graphics for the hardwood floor, wallpaper etc. Also need glue (best to have plain white glue) and use it very frugally. This isn't something for a child or younger kid to put together. I would suggest maybe 15 and up. It literally comes in pieces YOU have to put together. You build it from the ground up. You MAKE the furniture with thread, stuffing, and material they provide. It is a lot of fun if you have the patience. Also great to use with miniature dolls or toys. But don't be like me and assume ANY of it is already put together because it's not. I would recommend it though.
Lots of delightful details, challenging and fun!

This is a wonderful kit, filled with so many tiny details! You will need sharp scissors, fine point tweezers, glue, 3 AAA batteries, and good light to complete it, but it's very managable for crafty teens and adults, if you take care to organize your materials and take your time. This kit took me about 5 evenings to complete. I mostly used quick dry tacky glue, but did use super glue (CA) to glue the beads for the light fixtures together. This kit came with everything else needed, including clear, full color English instructions.
All of these kits are called "dollhouses" but they are not designed to be played with, although if you left off all the tiny little details, and just glued the house and furniture pieces together with minimal decoration, this one is probably sturdy enough to stand reasonably gentle play. I glued everything down, including the dog, rug, and furniture. The finished result is a miniature that everyone will admire and you can feel proud of having made.
There are loads of youtube videos that will give you a great idea how to put these kits together. Just search "DIY dollhouse". This is my first DIY dollhouse kit to make and I am looking forward to making many more.

This kit will keep you busy for hours if not days building all the happy little things to go into this happy little world. Get out your tweezers and unclog the glue bottle!
Dust proof case is a waste of money

Although I got a few flower pots broken and flowers smashed, but still a fun process.
I really enjoyed the process of building this up! It actually requires more time and effort than expected!
However, the dust proof case is completely stupid and waste of money.

Super cute and fantastic for beginners!

I am totally a beginner at building miniatures and this was the first set I've ever attempted to assemble.
First, I was surprised at the quality of the materials provided. The house structure (walls, roof, door, etc) are thick and the furniture is pretty sturdy once you glue everything together.
I was a little intimidated (ok, A LOT) when I saw that the box and instructions weren't in English (Chinese, perhaps? I apologize as I'm not familiar with any character symbols), but after flipping through the instructions, there are VERY detailed picture instructions provided which made starting the project a breeze.
I do recommend having a good pair of needle nose tweezers for the very tiny pieces, and using toothpicks for applying tiny dabs of glue where you need it. I wasn't sure what glue would work best, but I found a small 4-pack of crafting glue that dries clear on Amazon as an Add-On item for about $5. It's that gold/brassy colored plastic bottle with a white cap you've seen in your mom's junk drawer growing up. Lol
I haven't fully completed it as of yet, but I'm halfway through and can't wait to get the lights working in the kit!
Again, I'm in no way shape or form a professional at this, and I reiterate that bc I've seen reviews on Flever miniature products calling this stuff cheap and whatnot. But honestly, as a first timer, I am extremely pleased with this brand bc it's been pretty easy with a few non-critical mistakes along the way. My sister-in-law visited from Canada, saw my half finished project, and had one prime shipped to our house for herself before she went back home bc she loves building miniatures (Metal Earth, Paper Craft, etc).
Hope this review helps!
