I bought this Double Griddle and it works wonderful! Cleanup is super easy I would recommend it for anyone that has a duel burner stove top it heats evenly LOVE IT!

I have a ceramic cooktop with a bridge element. The cast iron double griddle/grills made sold at Williams Sonoma / Crate & Barrel are not supposed to be used on this surface. Additionally, a 20" griddle is 1/4" too long for the glass top cooktop.
The 11x18 Calphalon fixes both problems. It is a great size and does not harm the ceramic top.
I knew that with the bridge element, that the griddle would provide even heat across the length, but I was surpised at how well the griddle provided heat in the areas that were beyond the elements. I can cook up a half pound of bacon all at one time perfectly, and the corners are crimped to allow for easy grease pouring.
I highly recommend this pan.

The griddle is perfect for cooking multiple items simultaneously. It fits snug over two burners. Brings me back to the days of when I used to work at McDonalds working both pancakes and eggs at the same time.

When I bought this griddle I figured I would just use it for pancakes on weekends. It performs this stovetop duty very well. It turns out it is much more versatile than I first thought. I also use it for roasting potatoes in the oven. Right now baby potatoes, a whole head of garlic coated with olive oil and a little kosher salt topped with fresh rosemary is roasting as I write this. It is very easy to clean. It is big. Measure your stove to ensure it will fit. Some of the commercial products are large for the average stove. I have a large four burner range with built in griddle in the middle that has double oven and it is the perfect size. The loop handles are easy for me to grab from the stove with an oven mitt. Again, measure the inside of your oven as well if you plan on using it for this! I think you will be pleased with this pan. It's not rated for use in the dishwasher, but I like to wash most of my cookware by hand so that isn't a big deal for me. Oven timer is beeping telling me it is time to stop writing and start snacking.

This griddle can cook 8 pieces of French toast at once, without excessive crowding. The pan heats very evenly, so that even portions not over the burners are hot, and the parts over the burners are not too hot! Nothing sticks (of course), and you can feed a crowd. This is a great buy. We own several Calphalon hard anondized pans, but this was my first nonstick. The nonstick surface seems much more durable than that of my T-fal set. This griddle is highly recommended.
