Perfect for my vanilla sugar at a great price

At first I was wary, as the packaging had a plasticky smell to it, but as soon as I opened it and examined each bean separately, it became pretty clear that the smell was just confined to the outer packaging. These were moist, exploding with scent, and contained a healthy amount of seeds in each. I won't pretend to be a bean expert, but I've purchased a few different brands and varieties, and intend to settle on this seller for the time being.

These were not only the best priced vanilla beans I could find, the quality was outstanding! Came vacuumed sealed, they were fresh, plump, and good sized beans. Made homemade vanilla ice cream, and it was the best ice cream I have had in ages! Saved another bean for the next batch and used the rest with bourbon for homemade vanilla extract. Will definitely buy these again!

I bought these to make my own extract and I'm not sure what to make out of them. Been 3 weeks and these beans aren't giving off anywhere near the color my other beans are. So far its much lighter in color than my other bottle if that plays any part into freshness or flavor guess only time will tell. Cut in half and slit down one side of the beans now in soaking in 16 oz. Bottle of vodka. First beans came from another company and same amount.

Excellent flavor profile on these beans and even though they are not cheap, they are priced reasonably compared to your local supermarket. These were definitely grade A, plump and fragrant, which are best for cooking/baking. I used for making creme brûlée with very satisfying results. I would definitely order these again.
