I used them to make 3 large jars of extract. 2 jars with vodka and 1 with bourbon. I shake them daily and after just 3 weeks they are already nice and dark and full of the seeds. I let them ferment for 8 months. I think with these beans this is going to be my best vanilla extract that I've ever made.

Bought these on an impulsive win after comparing bang for buck with the intention of making my own vanilla powder after being majorly scammed by another product I bought here [Hint yall; if it dissolves totally in water it is NOT vanilla bean powder] So I decided to bite the bullet and after a boring 4 hour drying process i have a solid 2 oz on vanilla powder entirely home made! I would've had slightly more but i took one bean out and put it in my jar of maple syrup because yes. 5 stars all around highly recommended from a baker like myself [got the recipe for vanilla powder from living healthy with chocolate, also highly recommend]

I got the vanilla beans to make vanilla extract and started it 7 days ago. It's already becoming a nice, rich color. Had to hold the jar up to a light to get a good picture and so far I am very pleased. The last ones I ordered from a different seller weren't even close to this color when finished. This batch will be a better flavor and quality. So far so good! I will for sure order these again.

I haven't used the beans yet. I ordered them to make extract. The beans look good, but they were delivered in a box with bona floor polish remover. I knew the floor cleaner was in the box but because I didn't need it right away I didn't open . When I opened the box and saw my beans, I was very shocked and disappointed. The beans do look good though.
