IT WON'T WORK IF YOU HAVE A COVER ON YOUR MACBOOK! I haven't actually used it but it looked perfect to me. I had to return because it doesn't fit with any cover.

So far it has worked very well and a great all in one prodcut for my 2016 USB C Macbook pro 13 inch. Honestly apple screwed up with their multiple dongles and this allows you to consolidate everything.

I purchased this adapter to use with my Dell XPS 13 9360 (model year 2017 I believe). So far, it has been great with a few exceptions.

The Good:
- HDMI display port seems to work great
- traditional USB 3.1 ports all seems to work great with multiple devices
- Audio-out port seems to work great; have not tried it with a microphone

Neutral:
- I have not tried the microSD / SD ports
- the USB-C port for charging seems to work great. However, sometimes I still get a warning from Windows or the BIOS (when booting up) that I am connected to a low power charger. This only happens maybe 20% of the time, and I have not tried multiple chargers to isolate the problem. Despite this message, my laptop always seems to charge fine, so not sure what the actual issue is.
- Feels a bit pricey, but then again, I could not find a viable, reputable alternative that provided the "in line look" for my specific laptop. Thus, I can't really blame the product for reflecting supply/demand reality.

Less Good:
- the plastic audio piece meant for "additional stability" does not align with the audio port on my XPS 13 9360. It was not clear in the product descriptions (that I could find) which model years this feature was meant for. The adapter still seems reasonably stable without the ability to use this; however, I am worried that it could become loose over time.
- I wish this adapter came will a small bag or padded "case" of some kind. I am worried about scratching/damaging it when throwing in my laptop bag, so I usually wrap it in something to be safe. Something from the manufacturer specifically for this purpose would be better.

Overall, I would highly recommend this product.

I purchased this product for my Dell XPS 13 2 in 1 laptop. The description states that it works with the DELL XPS however, it does not. The problem is with the voltage delivery. The Dell XPS requires 30w of power and this only delivers 25w. When plugging in the device it will work but with a warning that there is not enough power to operate without also draining the battery meaning, I will not be able to maintain or charge my laptop when using this device with my supplied XPS power plug. The computer states it will operate if I change the BIOS settings. I am not interested in changing my settings to get less performance. It does work as designed without the power plugged in but that is not what I need it to do. I did not test the HDMI output, It did read my SD cards and USB devices. I will be returning to the vendor because it does not work as advertised.

HyperDrive is incredibly helpful in terms of travel and accessibility. There is no need for me to carry around 8 different adapters when I can have an all in one.
