The first time I bought the item the lock didn't work, but they replaced it and the new one works great. I would say it's on the heavier side so if your biggest concern is luggage weight and you have very limited space I would not suggest this. But if you are leaving for a long time and you have room and weight to spare this is perfect. I'm studying abroad for a semester and I wanted to carry my special documents and cash in this safe and keep it in my dorm.
I should of check the size!

Looks sturdy and durable but I messed up by not looking at the size. I was only looking for something that was the size of a credit card to put my cards into when I am manic to limit my spending.. 5 stars because it is my fault it wasn't the size I was looking for.
Good metal case, but compared to the Zuwo, this feels like it should be cheaper.

This is the exact same case as the Zuwo branded pistol case (sold in pairs forthe same price by Amazon until recently). The only difference I could find is with the lanyard (as shown in the pictures). It will easily fit a 4" barrel pistol plus a mag and a small wallet, but don't expect to fit a holster as the case won't close. Setting the code is easy; open the case (default code is 000 or 999), put the inside switch into the B position, set the code, put the switch back into A and done. Only reason for not making a 5 star review is due to the price. After buying 2 for $22 total, only finding 1 for the same total price after only a three months feels like a rip off.

Bought this safe to bring to Mexico (resort safes have a master code so I just don't trust valuables in them). Was a great size for passports, cash, and jewelry! Perfect size for traveling anywhere!
