Love the basket. I made chicken broth with bones,veggies and spices. Everything went in basket. When it was done just lifted
the basket and had a great stock. I have seen in other posts people have had problems with the handle coming off, but mine was fine.
Also it fits in 6 quart IP perfectly.

Several people have rated this steamer low because of the handle popping off. It's a REMOVABLE handle. It stands to reason that you'd have to take care with it, & adjust if necessary. I tightened mine up the first time it popped loose & it's performed flawlessly since. It is the accessory I use 95% of the time when using my IP. I can lift a basket stacked with chicken thighs or eggs, no problem. And no more hunting for bones when I make bone broth! I LOVE IT. One tip, if you have sautéed something in the pot before inserting the basket, it's much easier to clean if you coat it with some kind of oil. For most, that would be PAM, but because PAM causes inflammation in the body, I recommend spray olive or avocado oil.

People complain the handle comes off. Mine did after I washed it. You just stretch handle outward again and it's secure and trustworthy again. Love this for my instant pot.
