Bought this for my 4 1/2 year old for Christmas. He was soooo excited. It is now May and he still played with them often. He is currently helping his dad with a remodeling project and makes sure he uses his own tools. They work just like real adult ones. A little heavy for little hands.

If I could give this more than 5 stars, I would. My husband is arguably as excited about the set as our 5 year old son. The tools are TOP NOTCH quality, just in a size that is friendly for child sized hands. Not plastic or cheap metal like you see in many other tool kits. We love that it has both a tool bag and belt. No corners cut here and the entire set was extremely well thought out and designed/sourced. Our son put on the entire set as soon as he opened it, gave us a full narrative of each tool, then promptly went outside and started a project. High 5 for a gift that is well received and not another plastic toy :)

Santa brought this for my 5 year old this Christmas. He loves it and takes it with him to Home Depot for building day every month. The tool belt matches the HD bib perfectly. I love the fact that these tools are REAL tools fit to a child. The hammer is perfect! It's the tack hammer you usually find in kids sets. I've found that kids have a hard time hitting a nail with those long handled, small headed hammers. But with this hammer he can hold it properly and hit nails with authority. The rest of the tools are the same way. Perfect for kids up until their early teens or so.

Your heart would melt like mine when my nearly 4 year old grandson saw these tools!! The grips fit his hands to a tee. He was sooooo proud that he had real tools like Papa. If your child or grandchild is mechanically inclined YOU will not be let down!!! Made of heavy duty material just like my tool bag.
