I love these straps. Have had them for 2 years - I bought the 4 pack. After 2 years, the plastic cap covering the spring was damaged and the spring started to come out on one of the 4. My only wish for improvement is perhaps a metal cover over this spring. Just bought 4 more because as I said, I do really like them.
Never going back to regular straps again!

Ok, so I don't normally like to admit this, but ratchet straps completely baffle me. I've hated them my entire life and even though they've been explained to me probably hundreds of times, I STILL have to watch a YouTube video every single time I go to use them! I don't know what it is, but the mechanics of them just don't work in my brain. ANYWAYS...if you're anything like me and struggle with simple ratchet straps, then THIS IS THE ANSWER! There is not much to say it's a ratchet strap that winds itself up! It's much easier to use than a traditional ratchet strap, and stores neatly! I highly recommend the straps!
