I love the idea that a rachet strap self retracts, however this model is to small for a small U-Haul truck. I and not practical, get the bigger one even if its heavy. I also didn't think about it ahead of time but the end not coming off can make it hard to anchor it in places where you can't get the hook to go. Basically if you use the straps all the time and have easy places to anchor them with big hooks and don't need a loose end they are for you. If you need more flexibility, you will probably want to keep your old ones around for those situations.

Great cargo straps, terrible shipping container. The straps are heavy metal but were recieved in a crushed cardboard box inside a plastic bag that only had about 1/4 inch of plastic left keeping it closed. This is the second Amazon shipment in a worthless container!

These are great straps. The strap self storing feature is great. Product is pretty straight forward & easy to use. I can't comment on its durability as I haven't had them long but they seem well built.
