Great knife for the money
Maddie Campbell✓ Verified Purchase•September 22, 2023
I 1st bought 3 of these this for stocking staffers for my son n laws. They loved them and after seeing that it was a great knife to have in the car console or to have in my range and camping bags, I bought more. I was so impressed with the knife for money, I buy them and give them away for gifts on my you tube channel. Everyone that wins really like them. It is great quality for the price, but don't expect to compare it to a $300 knife.
2nd time bought 1
Was needing it to look like picture. The metal brushed look. Wouldn't have ordered if I knew how it really looked.✓ Verified Purchase•September 19, 2023
Great tool to carry around.
Wore my last one out, only complaint is, batteries they send, are almost dead, both times

Let's be honest here: for the price, I figured it would be suitable for riding around in a tackle box, or something along those lines. Instead, it has become my EDC for the last several months. The unknown steel holds a decent edge for a reasonable amount of time, the fire steel works, as does the silly little light.
Well done.

First off, great budget purchase. Second - This is NOT my EDC - it IS NOT (shouldn't be anyways) meant as a primary bushcraft/camp knife. Not for battoning wood, or building a house on the prairie. The blade comes sharpened, the little flashlight in it works excellent for it's size (if you are smart enough to open it and remove the black contact liner) and even comes with a backup set of batteries (easy to lose, look out)
The cheap nylon belt pouch is... Cheap. The knife is to small to fit it well, but the box it comes in, does fit. This is not a bad thing actually, it leaves a bit of space for adding a few extra, small items (like a sharpening rod/small stone, a small lighter, a bit of bank line, etc) I plan to keep this in a pack, not on my belt anyways. The pocket clip would be better for carrying all the time, in my opinion.
The little Ferro rod is... Little. I assume it works like most of it's kind, I haven't stripped the outer layer off to waste it yet. One of my only complaints really, is the silly "bottle opener" cut out on the spine of the blade. It already has the sorta "seatbelt/ropecutter" tool along with the glass breaker at the bottom of the grip that would handle that just fine. Since it comes with a ferrorod/firestriker, a continuous, 90° spine for the blade would seem more helpful, and stronger. Maybe it saves them 2-10¢ per blade of material?
The action to open it, is slightly stiff; as a new knife should be. It's clearly not a flipper, nor does it suggest it is - the thumb stud works fine. Ergonomics are not ideal, but most combos that add gimmicks (like flashlight/firestarter) are not. It does sit in the hand just fine though.
All in all - (for the price especially) 5 stars. Useful, portable, it does everything I expect it to as backup, utility item in a pack, or car console.

Batteries?

I was confused about what I was supposed to do with the small batteries, I luckily figured it out. Great except no instructions to show me or tell me how to strike the side to make fire
