My daughter wanted this, however I find the instructions not helpful. We found some videos that help. The sound is very 80's and it does requiere a computer.

So I'll start off first and foremost by saying I had no idea what I was doing when I first took this bad boy out of the box (which arrived in a timely manner). After several frustrating hours I gave up on getting the keytar to work and e-mail Alesis for help. And they were a huge help. When I finally got time to go through their step by step instructions I was rocking out in no time! I highly recommend the Vortex 2. It has a huge library of sounds at it's disposal and you look damn cool playing it!
