Really good products, penetrates the wood superfast, this stuff will last you a long time. I am a serious cook and my cutting board gets a workout. I have only had to apply this twice despite almost daily washing of my cutting board. I before the first use after application I do find the lavender scent a bit strong so I recc. wipe the board with a damp soapy towel and dry it after application.

This stuff smells awesome - Fresh citrus. Oiling and waxing your boards and bowls is a must. The oil fills the wood up and the wax seals. All you need to do after using your cutting board is a quick rinse.

These are really great products. Previously I had used Boos oil, as I have Boos cutting boards. And while the Boos products are very good as well, the Clark's are a good substitute. I like the fact that Clarks are lightly scented (lemon). They are easy to use. The only think I'd point out of that the wax is pretty solid, at least in the case of my jar. I had to work with it a bit and a paper towel to get it ready for the board. However, once it went on, it did as advertised and really helps the life of the cutting board.

We use Clarks products on all our butcher block cutting boards and wooden kitchenware. I also recently installed about 40LF of butcher block workbench in my garages. I lightly sanded them, then used 2 coats of the oil ( waiting 24 hrs between coats) followed by 1 coat of the wax. They came out beautiful. When I scratch them, just a light sanding and a bit of the wax restores them to perfect condition. I highly recommend these products, particularly as opposed to polyurethane on a butcher block workbench. Smells good also. Hint: Let the wax warm up a bit in the sun before you use it. This makes it easier to apply a nice thin coat, and the product goes further.

I have ordered this twice for my cutting block kitchen island. It smells amazing, absorbs quickly, and really does keep wood and bamboo from splitting and flaking. I use it on my wooden spoons and pizza peel. Once a year I sand down my cutting block with fine sandpaper, wipe it off and then I put half a bottle's worth of oil layers on it over 48 hours. It it great for my hands too since I just rub the excess in. Fantastic product.
