Super easy. You do need an added coax cable ...
Matt LindenbachApril 15, 2018
Instantly fixed an excessive power issue causing my upload channels to not lock. My router would only lock one upload channel out of the four. Due to this I would occasionally have service interruptions as my router would drop internet connection and just try and cycle back on constantly until I would unplug the power and coax for about 5 minutes for a reboot. Simply hook up between your wall connection and modem and plug in. Super easy. You do need an added coax cable to go from box to modem so plan accordingly.
Fixed by issue!

I've had major problems with the slowness of my Internet. After testing many different cable modems came to discover that the outside lines had issues with noise disrupting the signal on the line. This device completely illuminated all problems. I can't tell you how happy I am now with my Internet signal.
Works great and increases the signal

I was having issues with my Comcast Internet disconnecting frequently ...

I was having issues with my Comcast Internet disconnecting frequently. I checked my cable modem and found that it was only connecting 1 out of four upstream channels and that connection was marginal. Comcast said the only option was to run a new cable from the distribution box to my house, something I did not want to do since burying the cable would damage my fence, tree roots, etc. I added this bi-directional amplifier ahead of my cable modem., Now I have a rock solid Internet connection with four upstream channels bonded.
Poor buy for me
