Nice kit but handle broke
I bought this set for my 18 year old daughter who is serious about fishing. On a trip to Florida in February she used it extensively and liked it, except for the spinning reel. The little spring that snaps the folding handle into place came loose and left the handle floppy. She fished with it like that for two days. Caught a lot too, but it was a challenge with the broken reel.

The kit came as advertised. I was sceptical about quality, but once I opened and examined the rod itself I was very impressed. I normally grab my Shakespeare graphite 6' ultra light rod with Mitchell Avocet for my impulse/joy fishing excursions, but this rig (with additional storage space for my favorite lures) can live in a storage compartment of my SUV and I won't even have to regret those days when my commute takes me by my favorite fishing holes and no rig in my vehicle. I am over the moon!
