GREAT Knobs, Be Careful of the Pots tho....

The knobs & scales included with my purchase were worth the price alone! Brass lined knobs, and some nice printed scales. The pots measured quite close to the advertised value, 2969 and 2986 ohms end to end (3K was ordered). Be careful when mounting these, they are quite fragile. There is a plastic indexing pin (you can see the remains of it on the right side of the pot pictured). If you don't notice it and attempt to mount the pot in a panel, it WILL tear the shaft out of the front of the control, rendering it useless. If the indexing pin is not used, cut if off and make sure there's no projection to twist the shaft in the pot body. Make sure to washer the shaft well behind the panel, so no stress is put between the mounting and the pot body. These aren't built like the old Clarostats!
All in all, a good deal for the price.
