We really like how much better our photos are from our 100x microscope with this stand over the suction cup base that came with our microscope. This is sturdy and you can get really, really close closeups and the focus is so much easier as raising or lowering can give more precise focus than we had been able to obtain previously. When I got the notice that it had shipped and would be arriving by USPS I was a bit concerned, however it came a few days sooner than the notice had stated it would arrive by, so that was a very pleasant surprise!
