While I ordered the Arch Support Medical Insoles Gel Orthopedic Orthotic Insoles Foot pads Shoe Insoles women shoe inserts, what I received is "Ball of foot cushions" and the illustration on the package shows it being used under the ball of the foot. I'll try to use them under the arch, but can't comment on their value as Arch Supports.

Revision: I played with placement in these and find that they actually do work quite well. As far as stickiness goes, make sure your sandals are really clean inside for them to stick better. They're about the same sticky mess level as my Dr. Scholls.

I bought them for a vacation that would involve a lot of walking but ended up having to take them out of my shoes shortly after putting them in. Perhaps I need to mess around with the proper placement of these (even more than I already have) but they were not comfortable at all.
