Not worth it because they ship the wrong product

I had an issue with receiving the wrong model but the seller made it right so as to the reasons for the stars. The product is a good value for the price. Install the as pretty simple if you have some mechanical skills. I say that because of the wiring diagram it's pretty vague. The switch that comes with it is a little bulky if mounting on sxs so some modification is required. Other than those minor issues I have no complaints and it works well

Using EWP 3500, assuming type U(?), and wiring for the hand held remote. Neither online or manual wiring diagram is accurate. Will wire to color codes and connectivity. If it fails smoke check it will be returned. Otherwise looks good. Update to follow.
Follow up:
Wired to connectivity, not color code, i.e. leads connected to male/female and eyelet to stud. No smoke! The kit for this winch was complete and better then the name brand. The winch was installed for hoisting ("Do not use this device for lifting persons or as a hoist") and would lift at least 500#. Very strong! Very low battery drain. Will probably buy another for use in an ATV log skidder.

I am NOT disappointed that the item was not represented by the picture. The winch is grey, not purple. There is no schematic for the wiring. The illustrations in the install manual do not represent this model winch. Having said that, I had only one problem with the install. The unlabeled terminals in the switches looms are not grounds. They go to +12volts. All of the other connections are straight forward. I seldom receive this type order without it missing hardware. This order had every item complete. LOVE IT.
