Nice sized table, but I was a little disappointed in the stability. I guess I'm old school and have higher expectations than some people. The table that this one is replacing is probably 50 years old. This one will be in a landfill in fraction of that time. Sign of the times.

My 91 year old mother recently moved into an independent living facility and sold her home and most of her possessions. Her new apartment is quite a bit smaller than her villa was, so it was important to be able to furnish her new living space with what she really needed instead of making it difficult to navigate her space without running into anything.
She is a very social person and enjoys reading, playing bridge, knitting and putting large puzzles together -- activities that help her thought processes keep working efficiently. So we bought her this XL Series 38" Folding Card and Game Table so that she could pull it out whenever the urge hit her. An additional advantage is that it is tall enough to let a friend (or friends) in a wheelchair slide right up to it without having to change chairs. Pretty smart thinking on the manufacturer's part.
We gave this to Mom as one of her Christmas presents and she is thrilled with it. Word has gotten around and she has received lots of requests to visit from those interested in the same pastimes. Maybe she can set up a schedule and charge for admission. Those 1,000 piece puzzles don't have a chance!

I love the size of this table and am so pleased by it's quality. This is a really solid sturdy table. My old standard size card table felt cramped for our monthly Scrabble games but this one will give us space for our glasses and snacks.

Arrived with bent edge to table top. It's a nice table but looks like it was sloppily put together. At $100 I expect it to be properly assembled. I will try and fix the top but appears that the metal frame on the top has bent frame.
