The piece was super easy to install. Unscrew the 2 screws holding the broken piece and screw 2 screws in to the new piece.

I've seen the bad reviews for this product but I think otherwise! Mine was very easy to install and has been working well with my Frigidaire front load washer! The price was very cheap and for it being so cheap it is sturdy! My suggestion would be make sure it's on there good and don't push so hard on it when you close your washers door! Other than that, mine has been good and has kept up well! I would totally recommend this piece!

It fit perfectly BUT since our dryer door leaning on the hinges was the real problem, someone slammed it shut and snapped this piece. I literally gorilla spray-glued it back together, and it's held forever.
