For years I struggled with coated (teflon, ceramic, copper, etc) pans, and was so frustrated having to buy new pans every year after the coatings deteriorated. The last set of pans I bought were the "copper" coated pans, non-teflon. These were so bad, they would stick brand new, and the bottoms would warp in the middle. So frustrated, I finally bought these pans to see what the deal was. Boy, was I thrilled to use these. If you heat them just a little, add your oil or butter, these pans are every bit as good at not sticking as any coated pan. They heat very evenly, no hot spots, and do not warp. They are also oven safe. Do not hesitate to get these - you won't be sorry.

I've always wanted a nice set of stainless steel pans and these do NOT disappoint. They are easy to work with and durable. I had to teach my oldest how to use them so he wouldn't ruin them. My daughter decided to try to ruin one and I taught her how to clean it with some barkeeper's friend and some elbow grease. If you buy these, please be aware that they need LOWER heat requirements because they conduct heat so well. Also, let them warm up before putting anything in them or else everything will stick to them. These are not meant to be completely non-stick but they are easy to clean if used right. My wife will not use them, she is scared of them for some reason. There isn't a single non-stick pan that I like better, even my cast iron pan isn't this good. I get an awesome sear on my steaks with these...like restaurant quality good.
