The Ultimate Extra large tv wall mount
Jeff H.✓ Verified Purchase•September 29, 2023
The media could not be loaded. After doing extensive research and trying to find a bracket to support my Sony Bravia XL 98" XR Bravia , total weight without stsnd. 149 pounds.
The Human Centric goes above and beyond what other brackets claim they can do. I was told by multiple sales people that no bracket will support that amount of weight when extended"¦other than a Wall mount flush bracket.not true.
I did not want that, as I wanted to extend it TV from the wall to allow my hue lighting to create the best lighting affects. Installation was easy and I did run a 2 x 6 vertically between the two by fours so that I could secure the top bracket even more so.using 10 4 inch lag bolts, pre drill pilot and hit center of studs , this is important. After testing my I 14 pro max see photo.,
We mounted the TV on the bracket, leveling and adjusting the tilt was simple and it has been three weeks and my TV has not shifted or tilted off axis. My Sony TV extend 19 inches from the wall.. the best part was the $149 I paid for this bracket shopping around with professional installers would have been over $700 including a $499 bracket which is not necessary.

First time that the mount was actually as sturdy as advertised.

Generally I liked the mount, its build with appropriate thickness metal to support the heavier / larger TVs.
The one downside to the entire mount is that the plate you bolt to the wall is permanently tied to the rest of the articulating arm, so you have open the mount up to its furthest position so you can get access to all the holes of the frame. This requires at least two people to install at this point. The first two bolts are used with hanging loops; which requires you to measure quite precisely in order for it to actually have the bolts slip into the loops and hold the frame while you tighten them down. The plus side of this design issue is that generally the entire thing is more sturdy, which, IMO is an acceptable tradeoff.
The positioning of the TV on the mount from left to right is mainly based on friction of the grips bars that are bolted onto the TV frame. The grip seems adequate so it doesn't slide side to side but if you need to center the TV left to right, you may have to pick up the entire TV (two people again) and re-attach to the main mount articulating arm. Not really a big issue here either, just something to watch for when you put the TV on the mount. Make sure you have it where you want it.
I mounted our 75" TV at 7ft off the ground, so this was quite tricky i needed 3 people, 2 to climb ladders with the edges of the TV and a 3rd person supporting the TV as we went up to hook on mount. Of course, this is not an issue with lighter / smaller TVs.

Perfect for heavy flat-screen displays

I used two of these for my displays (80-in Sony Bravia, 75-in LG). These mounts are sturdy and handle large, heavy displays very well. I mounted each of mine on oak 1x3 boards, 36-inches wide, so that the mounts would span across 3 wall studs for extra stability. However you could mount the wall plate directly across 2 wall studs if you prefer, and hardware is included for this (in fact a nice amount of mounting hardware is included, not only to mount to wall but mounting TV display to this wall mount).
Once the wall plate is attached to your wall, just install the adapter rails on the back of your TV display unit, and using 2 or 3 helpers you can easily lift TV display onto wall plate. It is very easy to install and is very sturdy. Provides a good range of motion for displays that are larger than 70-inches and I have full confidence moving TV displays around. I highly recommend this product for larger TV displays.

Solid Mount

Bought this for my TCL 98R754. No issues. Easy install if you follow directions.
My only recommendation is to use a quality allen wrench when tightening the tilt/rotation screws. The provided Allen wrench can easily strip if not careful.

Perfect for larger screens

I was shopping around for a mount that would hold 85+ inch TV and provide post-installation leveling capabilities.
Before this mount, I've purchased different mount rated for TV that size and weight rating up to 130lbs, yet tilt mechanism was not capable of holding my TV in place (TV weight of 92 pounds) and I had to return it.
It is not the case with this mount. It is very sturdy and tilt lock controls are working just perfect.
Capability to level the TV after installation is one of my favorite features. Even if you level the mounting plate perfectly fine, there may still be a slight "give" of other components under weight and put the TV out of level, especially TVs 85 inches and larger. If you're like me and can't tolerate imperfection then this TV mount is for you.
