It's been a long time since we've had Ramen noodles. Husband has panic attacks after eating msg. We found one other brand without msg but it was only available in a very spicy hot flavor neither of us liked. Others mentioned this isn't as flavorful as the flavors with added msg but we thought it was good. Makes a quick meal with a little chopped coked meat, hard boiled egg, and a little chopped green onion. If you've no problem with salt add a little soy sauce for more flavor.

I was craving a taste of nostalgia. Soy flavor was close, but didn't hit exactly. Old "oriental" flavor held a special place in my childhood.
Soft packaging did not protect the ramen.

Love instant ramen, quick, easy, affordable. This 24 pack makes each ramen package about $0.83 per. I miss the days when instant ramen from Nissin or Maruchan were $0.14 per, but currently, if a store near you does sell Nissin Soy Sauce Instant Ramen, they'll typically go for $0.40-$0.60 per package. It's still worth having a small snack-meal for $0.83, but it is marked up for being on amazon to account for shipping and merchant fees obviously.
