I had been doing research on neck pillows. Like most people, I did not find those semi-circle puffy neck pillows a good candidate for neck support. I stopped using my old neck pillow years ago. As I am able to travel more these days, it was very important to me to find the BEST neck pillow out there. I have been reading and reviewing via u-tube all of the comments on neck pillows and have recently tried several favorable pillows. I found the evolution S3 the front runner immediately after trying it on for the first time. As a matter of fact, people who travel extensively will only recommend traveling with this pillow.

Other neck pillows I've tried are thick all around, forcing one's neck forward rather than allowing one to lean back. This one is thin in the back, with high sides and a closure in front that keep the neck comfortably upright. The pillow can be compressed to a smaller size to fit in luggage. This is the second one I've owned. When I lost the first one, I immediately bought another. I wouldn't fly without it!

I've never used neck pillows & wouldn't know where to find one besides airports at price hikes. But man, did I find myself needing one ASAP on a very tight budget & this came within 5 hours! A few days into an awful pinched nerve that started at my neck/moved down my right shoulder & arm, it hurt tremendously to support the weight of my own head & every time I arose from my bed or chairs, settling back down was a total ordeal "˜til I got this. I shouldn't have driven with it but kinda did"¦My only dislike is that you can't fully open the pillow with the string like a full sweater/coat zipper cuz I didn't like it grazing my neck/chin when not needed. The back is comfy. For the price &, most important, delivery speed, I'm very grateful for the rapid relief of severe discomfort at a time when $20-30 vs. $50 mattered. I needed some other aides, but this helped so much b4, during & after I saw a doc/got Rx meds to help my recovery. It allowed me mobility/functionality by keeping my head up. I might buy a firmer or thicker pillow like this one, but def recommend this overall & wanna put my gratitude in writing. Gr8 value, I'd just go a lil' thicker & firmer if budget & delivery urgency weren't at such a fever pitch. Oh, it's compact, so maybe I'll take it on an upcoming flight.

I slept comfortably on a 6 hr flight thanks to this pillow. The straps that tie to the headrest are a game changer. The sides are high and supportive enough that I woke with zero neck pain and zero head bobs while sleeping. And it all rolls up into a fairly small convenient package so it's easy to transport.
