I'm not gonna say that the 5 star reviews are fake. I believe this product could work for some people, however it doesn't work for some people as well. I'm a big fan of the Genius Brand however this product didn't work for me. It almost did the opposite effects as advertised!! Not necessarily the brain fog, but the main issue I noticed with this product is I couldn't really express myself like before. My emotions were all jacked up.. for example: I could acknowledge something was funny, but I couldn't laugh, no expression on my face or anything. I tried it for 5 days. It just puts me in a strange, disoriented state.. the focus was there, but it was an odd focus. I'm returning it because I'd rather be able to enjoy the life in front of me instead of being in a hypnotized like trance that lasts for 4 hours.

Let me preface my opinion by telling you that I had a brain injury 5 years ago. So it's been a uphill battle to find the right type of supplement that will give me the energy and the additional brain capacity that I want without throwing it over the top. Either the jitters or that uncomfortable caffeine side effects feeling.

I tend to have a hard time feeling really awake and able to focus. This helps me stay alert and focused. I add one scoop to my Gatorade in the morning to help keep me awake and focused. It seems like the perfect cocktail of sustaining my alertness and I'm definitely more productive for the most of the day.

I have yet to have a crash in the afternoon since I started using it.
My usual uncontrollable morning and then afternoon yawning LOL seems to have faded away. The only different thing is the usual flavor. It's not bad, just a unusual fruit type flavor that takes a day or two to get. Hopefully they offer more flavors in the future.

I did experiment like I always do with supplements and mixed it with Genius Pre.  Talk about the ultimate "super-sized" pre-workout stack!! 1 heaping scoop of each mix into about 10 ounces of water about 20 minutes before training.  This had me soooo dialed in and focused on the mind-muscle contractions, I found myself going extra reps just observing the outcome.  I highly recommend The Genius Brand Consciousness to anyone looking to obtain that mental edge, alertness, and being able to keep on task when you need to give something your undivided attention.  Still blows my mind with the ingredient panel and the price you can purchase.  This is sheer proof that when you don't cut corners and deliver a cutting edge supplement"¦ you'll have amazing results!

But as someone diagnosed with ADHD I first started taking a half scoop with my prescription of Adderall in the morning. I didn't notice much of a difference in focus and so I moved up to 3/4 of a scoop and tried replacing my Adderall with this. Not only do I feel like I'm even more focused than usual, but I also don't get the shakes like Adderall used to give me! Speaking for others with ADHD I highly recommend you give this a try if you are having any issues with whatever you are prescribed.
