- •INSIDE MOUNT WIDTH: Inside mount require a minimum 2" window frame depth, the blind width must be 0.25" less than the window width. For example, if your window width is 40.5", the blind should be 40.25"wide, you need to select 40"W to place order. The blind length should be same as your window inside height. - •OUTSIDE MOUNT WIDTH: The blind width should be 3-6" wider than window width for better coverage. Absolutely horrible!! Very cheap and flimsy. Theses blinds do not block out the sun any better than aluminum blinds one could purchase at a hardware store. To add salt to the wound I received an email shortly after purchase asking me for the exact dimensions and how I planned to install them, (inside or outside the window frame,) which I thought was great! When I received the product they were too long. Definitely longer than the dimensions I sent in the email to the employee of this company. Rather than waiting two weeks to send them back to China and another two weeks to have them shipped back, I took the blinds to a hardware store to have them cut in order to accommodate my window.
