I love this blanket. As soon as I tried it the first time I instantly relaxed and took a nap. The weight of it helps me fall asleep faster. I wish there were different colors from this seller. It's not as hot as you'd think given the weight. It helps me stay warm but if it's really cold I need another blanket with it. The filling I guess is what doesn't hold heat like other materials. But I just love it. Best purchase I've made since I don't remember when. It's invaluable to find something that truly helps with sleeping difficulty.

The material is light and breathable, but the weight helps trap heat and lock it in. Sometimes I need only a knitted sheet and the weighted blanket to stay warm, and some nights just the weighted blanket is enough.
