Having a weighted blanket is really nice for sleeping, feels like a big hug before you go to sleep. I used it for a couple weeks but noticed sand type material started leaking onto the bed sheets from this blanket. I would recommend having a sheet cover around it to catch leaks and also makes it much easier to keep clean.

I didn't expect the size to be smaller, but it works out since it is just for one person. It is maybe around a 1/2 in at the thickest areas. Weight distribution is even throughout the blanket. I am ordering a duvet cover since washing it seems a bit tricky for me.

The blanket seems to be well constructed and should, with proper care, last many years. Delivery was quick and price was more than fair. I recommend it.
*BUT* the card, (and story) is cringeworthy. It clearly has never been touched by anyone proficient in English. Even being folded so as to open to the right, as opposed to opening to the left. (Chinese is written/read right to left, English is written/read left to right so cards get folded accordingly). So Company name, in large type, is actually printed on the "bacK' of the card, with the "CEO's story", printed in small type, occupies the front of the card.
I think even Google translate should have done a more believable job on the English and the card folding is just plain negligent. (now I know how the French feel about "bad French")
They should either hire an English proficient person to redo the booklet or at least remove the silly attempt at making it look "American" with the story. Stand on the quality of the product. Don't try to be more than that. (the Texas story did get a good BS score)

So I got 3lb one for a child who is 25lbs since I 5lbs was common size. I felt like the 3lbs was still a little heavier than I was hoping for. However I was able to find a blanket that comes in 1lb and 2lb. So I will keep this one for myself. I did like how it felt on me I am 125 lbs. I believe it feels relaxing to me. I was just worried it is too heavy for my child right now. I will have her use it next year or so.
