I absolutely love this bag. I got the black XL. It's beyond my expectations. Its so perfect for me. It's really durable, made very well. The material is wonderful and not cheapy. It's really roomy, I could put so much in there, everything I need and more. It's slouchy which is exactly what I wanted and for some reason hard to find one like that. I wanted slouchy not a hard cased bag. My laptop has its own little spot and fits great. The strap can be adjusted for any body size which I love. It's just all around a great bag and feel so lucky to have found what I've been searching forever for. Feeling ecstatic!

I decided not to buy the "Extra Large" in the beginning because I thought that the "Large" would be wider than it is. The inside of the backside pocket isn't DEEP enough to put much inside. Also, the 2 side pockets could be wider and a touch deeper; same goes for the interior pockets that are just too narrow to put anything substantial inside, it can barely squeeze in a small tissue package.

I bought this bag to replace a very old, faded, loosey and roomy messenger bag that's seen better days, but was still handling whatever I threw inside of it including groceries, books, large folders and envelopes and still had room for my wallet, tissues, wipes, tote bags and all kinds of stuff. It was nice while it was in work mode, but it never was as "prissy" as this NEW BAG is with its leather-like trim and shoulder pad on the shoulder strap.

So, once I got over the sadness of loosing all that excessive room and usefulness of the OLD BAG, I had to accept that the NEW BAG would be taking over the duties, just not as well. The other thing that the NEW BAG has to compensate for not having a DEEP backside pocket is the very large zippered front pocket on the pullover FLAP, yet, it still isn't as functional as the OLD BAG (with the larger backside pocket) but it looks Tons better in its "NEW" Condition and nice coloring; and it didn't have a strange smell or anything when I took it out of the plastic; that was very important to me.

It's a good fit and I decided to keep it and not send it back for the much larger size, but I thought about it for a minute until I wondered if the much larger size would be TOO LARGE for me and my size. I think the overall rating of 4 stars is feasible.

Love, love, love this bag. I have bought many messenger bags in the last year in my search for the most functional one for me. I bought some more pricey ones for the leather ones but they hurt my shoulder carrying it. The shoulder pad on this does the job. I haven't felt pain carrying this bag around (filled to capacity with a MacBook Pro, iPad Pro, planner, notebooks, binder, etc). The canvas has shown to be waterproof when water was spilled on it. The number of pockets was just enough. The front two pockets under the flap is large enough to hold B6 notebooks. I used one to hold my large pen case and the other side to hold my planner and B6 notebooks. This has helped to organize my bag for me.

I couldn't be happier with this bag and would definitely recommend it if travel to different locations for work.

I have been looking for a messenger bag for years. Took a chance on this one because it did it was extra large. Well it's large enough for what I carry to work. The only downfall was it would not zip with my binders in it. No big del because the flip can cover them. I could get smaller binders but I m not. The bf has lots of room in it. I can see myself using it for my camera as well. It seems very durable. Haven't tested it in the rain yet, but I am sure it will be fine. I also just purchase a pen/pencil holder just because I am OCD and I like things organized.

My daughter outgrew her backpack. She puts so much stuff in one, I decided to move her to a messenger bag. She loves it and it works perfectly for her.
